The 15-minute practice session

A repeatable guitar practice template: five minutes on a weak spot, five on a song you know, five just out of reach.

Why 15 minutes beats a vague hour

An hour of noodling feels like practice and leaves no memory of what improved. Fifteen minutes with a clock forces a choice: one weak spot, one known song, one stretch.

This is the same 5-5-5 idea behind the Breakthrough Bundle. You can run it tonight with a kitchen timer.

Block one — the weak spot

Name the bar that falls apart. Loop two to four beats only. Set the metronome 30–40% under the song tempo. Play it clean three times, then bump two BPM.

If you cannot name the bar, you are not ready for a long session. Write it down first.

Block two and three

Block two is a song you can already play. This is maintenance and morale. Keep time. Do not add fills you have not practiced.

Block three is one idea just out of reach — a new chord pair, a scale position, or a lick at half speed. Stop on time. Log the session on the dashboard if you have an account.

Questions

What if I have 40 minutes?

Run 5-5-5 twice, or add a ten-minute ear block: find the bass note of a verse by ear. Do not turn the extra time into unstructured riffing.

Do I need Pro for this?

No. A timer and a notebook are enough. The site’s dashboard and tools just make the log easier to keep.
